2025 ETERNAL MEMBERS FAN MEETUPS

We welcome everyone! You do not have to be an Eternal Member (or know one) to attend our unofficial, fan-run meetups. Are you thinking of buying an Eternal Membership but you’d like to meet some Eternals first? Our meetups are the perfect opportunity. :)

Join us for our unofficial, fan-run meetups. These fan meetups are run by the Eternal Members fan group. They are not official programming by Dragon Con and will therefore not be included any of Dragon Con’s publications or schedules including any printed materials or the Dragon Con app. Please add them to your calendar or organizational system. The official Dragon Con app comes out a few days before the event and allows you to add custom events to your schedule.

Want a souvenir? Look for the peach flyer in the Eternals badge pickup room. Due to time and space limitations, the flyer will not include all of the meetups on this page.

Everyone is are encouraged to follow the events by enabling all notifications online. Stay up to date on the latest news regarding time and location. Longtime attendees know that nothing on the schedule is set in stone until AFTER it has already happened! ;)

WEDNESDAY, 11:00 p.m – midnight.
Since 2016 I’ve been hosting a free, unofficial photoshoot with the Marriott Carpet since 2016. This will be the 9th annual Memorial for Marriott Carpet/Trashy/Postcard, https://www.facebook.com/events/2922529314570643 .
Location: Marriott on the Marquis level, just outside the Walk of Fame. Directions: Walk in the Marriott front entrance. Take the escalator down to the Marquis Level. This is the same level the Information Desk will be on Thursday, sometimes it is set up on Wednesday.
 
THURSDAY, August 28, 2025. 8:00 p.m. – midnight.
Official Eternals-only party hosted by Dragon Con. This party is 21 and up. Security will check for your Eternal badge and ID at the door. Eternals, Dragon Con will send you an email with the location and details. This year the email was sent on August 1, 2025 from dragoncon@dragoncon.org with the subject line “Greetings Dragon Con Eternals!” To protect the privacy of the event, the location will not be shared online.

Eternals afterparty at Hyatt Bar on the lobby level, Twenty-Two Storys. This is an unofficial fan meetup. Join us with your non-Eternal friends, everyone is welcome!

Aquarium Night with Eternals and Friends.

Eternals and Friends Hot Tub party, 6:00 pm – ?.
Whew, that was a lot of walking! Take a load off, join us in the Marriott hot tub after the convention ends. As of this writing, it is uncertain what time the pool will close.

Tuesday checkout is the new Monday checkout! Join our annual post-Tuesday lunch at Aviva in the Peachtree Hub/ Food Court. It is near the Yami-Yami sushi place.

1) Click “Events” on the left side of your Facebook homepage. You may have to click “See More.”
2) Go to the event.
3) From the event, click the three dots “…” in the upper right hand corner .
4) Then click “Notification Settings.”
5) From here, you can choose:

  • All Notifications: You’ll get notifications any time posts are made in the event. (Recommended, especially for newer Eternals)
  • Highlights: You’ll get notifications for important posts.
  • Host Updates Only: You’ll get notifications when a host posts in the event.
  • Off: You won’t get notifications.
    You can also change your event notification settings by clicking “Settings” from your profile and then selecting Notifications > Events.
